Privacy-sensitive data, or personal data, is processed through our online store. SmitenCo BV considers careful handling of personal data to be of great importance. Personal data is therefore carefully processed and secured by us.
In our processing, we adhere to the requirements of privacy legislation. This means, among other things, that we:

· limit our collection of personal data to only the personal data necessary for legitimate purposes;

Processing order
When you place an order with us, we use your personal data to process it properly. We may then provide your personal data to our delivery service to have the order delivered to you. We also receive information about your payment from your bank or credit card company. We use your email address, telephone number, payment details and name and address details for this purpose. We do this on the basis of your permission. We keep this information for two years after your order has been completed. We keep certain customer data for a longer period in connection with the statutory tax retention obligation.
Providing to third parties
We work with certain companies that may receive your personal data mentioned above from us.
To process orders we work together with:
· QLS, for processing our orders.
Contact form and Newsletter
You can ask us questions or make requests using the contact form. We use your name and address details and email address for this. We do this on the basis of your permission. We keep this information until we are sure that you are satisfied with our response and six months thereafter. This way we can easily access the information for follow-up questions. We can also train our customer service to become even better.
We offer a newsletter with which we want to inform interested parties about our products and/or services. Every newsletter contains a link with which you can unsubscribe.
Your email address will only be added to the subscriber list with your permission. This data will be retained until you cancel the subscription.

Advertisement
We would like to send you advertisements about offers and new products or services. This is what we do:

This (location) data can also be stored and processed by the provider of, for example, the navigation/map software, such as Google Maps, but the data can also be used by, for example, Google or Apple itself. Ads
Our online store shows advertisements. We do not publish these ourselves, but advertising agencies with which we collaborate do. These agencies keep track of whether you like them and use that information to only provide fun or interesting advertisements and offers in the future.
Provision to other companies or institutions
With the exception of the partners mentioned above, we do not provide your personal data to other companies or institutions under any circumstances, unless we are legally obliged to do so (for example if the police require this in the event of a suspicion of a crime).
